Why I’m Expanding from Shopify to Shopify + Pinterest
For a long time, my work focused on one thing:
Making Shopify stores convert better.
Better messaging
Clearer structure
Stronger product pages
And it worked — but it also revealed a bigger issue.
The problem clients kept running into
Once a store was optimized, the next question was always:
“How do I get consistent traffic without burning money on ads?”
Social platforms felt unpredictable.
SEO felt slow.
Ads felt expensive.
Pinterest kept coming up — but rarely worked the way people expected.
Why Pinterest alone wasn’t the answer
Most Shopify store owners tried Pinterest as a content task:
Post more.
Be consistent.
Follow trends.
But Pinterest isn’t a social platform.
It’s a search engine built around intent.
Without:
- Clear keywords
- Strategic pin destinations
- A Shopify store built for planners
Pinterest traffic stalls.
That’s why “Pinterest isn’t working” is usually a system problem — not a platform problem.
Why Shopify + Pinterest work best together
Pinterest brings:
- Top-of-funnel, high-intent users
- Long-term, compounding traffic
- Search-driven discovery
Shopify needs to:
- Match the promise of the pin
- Build trust quickly
- Guide the next step
When those pieces are aligned, Pinterest stops feeling random — and starts feeling predictable.
Why I made this shift
This pivot isn’t about adding a new service.
It’s about solving the full problem.
Traffic without conversion doesn’t work.
Conversion without traffic doesn’t scale.
Shopify and Pinterest were never meant to be separate.
Who this is for
This approach is for Shopify store owners who:
- Want long-term traffic, not spikes
- Are tired of guessing what to post
- Care about systems more than hacks
What’s next
I now offer:
- Pinterest setup & optimization
- Keyword and intent research
- Pinterest strategy aligned with Shopify
- Ongoing Pinterest management
If Pinterest traffic is part of your growth plan this year, I’ll be sharing more about how to build it the right way.
